Is it possible to have 2 storage controllers?

Hi,

I have everything setup and working so not looking out for any debugging help. I am trying to setup distributed storage from my virtual machines in the cloud. The storage controller is up and running and i am able to create the EBS blocks. But it seems all the blocks that we create are sitting in the same folder in the file system as is configured inside the storage controller to use.

If we were to have the physical disk stores to sit in different places...can we have the ability to configure 2 storage controllers for the same setup or to make the storage controller talk to 2 different hardware drives and store the volumes there.

Thanks and would really appreciate any insight in this regard.

Hello,

currently the opens source version is not supporting that feature. If you have 2 drives, you can use mdadm of lvm and use the RAID version you prefer, and have the sc to use that resulting space. That would achieve what you want.

At the moment you can have only one sc per cluster.
