I had installed UEC and i configured it with working IP.
I am connected thro proxy server.

When i use Eucalyptus through the web interface and browse for images i am getting

" No images found"

I read that UEC will provide some default images to create instances.
What might me the problem in my case?
Whether i need a direct IP?

Hello,

there are 2 tabs: one is for the appstore and it is a UEC addition. The other is provided by eucalyptus and points to a listing of pre-pacakged images we provide. In either cases you will need network access to the public network, and I think that UEC may requires some extra packages (I think the name is python-image-store-proxy).
