All,

I am running eucalyptus 1.6.1 installed from repo.eucalyptus.com

I have 4 machines (1 clc, 1 cc and 2 nc) each running ubuntu 9.10.

Network is MANAGED mode and security group size is 64. I can stary up 64 instances (MAX_CORES=32 on both nodes) and there are 250 public IPs available (we plan to expand number of nodes).

Now, if I start 30 instances in one go i see no problems, all instances start and all get a public/private IP pair. If I then start another 30 works perfectly as before.
However, if I start all 60 in one go all instances start running but never get assigned a public IP.

Very odd.

Any help/thoughts appreciated.
